The Valley Energy & Climate Action Committee and Rochester Public Library lecture series presents, How Your House Works & When It Doesn’t with Steve Spatz from Efficiency Vermont on Wednesday, June 16th from 7:00 to 8:00 PM (3rd Wednesday of the month) on Zoom.

Our homes and buildings are systems with interrelated components. When they don’t function as effective systems, all kinds of problems can develop. Find out how modern building science and building performance professionals identify where our building systems fall short on providing affordable, comfortable, durable, efficient, healthy, safety, and value and about services and incentives available in Vermont to ensure your home does what you want when you want it.

Steve Spatz, an Energy Specialist with Efficiency Vermont, has been a builder and now holds both Building Performance Institute and Residential Energy Services Network certifications. Steve works with architects, builders, building supply firms, and recently with appraisers, lenders, our multiple listing service, and Realtors®. Steve also teaches building professionals about the Vermont Residential Energy Standards, our state energy code.
