The next Rochester Public Library library book discussion will be the memoir of aviatrix, Beryl Markham. West With the Night is the story of one adventurer’s life lived to the fullest. Born in England in 1902 and raised in Kenya surrounded by wildlife, she grew up and supported herself training racehorses and learned to fly. She became the first person to fly nonstop from Europe to America. Hers was a life full of daring exploits. This is a great read for armchair travelers, historians, and anyone looking for inspiration.

Book discussion will be Wednesday, March 3 at 7:00. Register today and arrange to pick up a book with plenty of time to read before we meet for this online event.

All events are on Zoom. Register for any or all events and a Zoom link will be provided via email before the event. Email the library at [email protected]gmail.com to sign up.
