White Houses by Amy Bloom is the library’s April Book Club selection. This month we are switching from reading memoirs to historical fiction, but keeping the theme of strong women.

This story is told from the perspective of Lorena Hickok, Eleanor Roosevelt’s aide and companion. Hickok was a brilliant journalist and photographer who fell in love with Eleanor. This book is sure to create interest in reading more about the amazing life of Eleanor Roosevelt and the work that she did.

Book discussion will be via Zoom and registration is required. Email the library at [email protected] to reserve a copy of the book.

Discussion will be Wednesday, April 14th at 7:00.
